Dr. Arthur P.
Attwell, a veteran educator of 32 years, heads the Childhood Education
Department at Nyack College in New York City. He is a national

Rosemarie
Ramdhari is a Senior Claim Specialist at an insurance company and
serves as a member to the Advisory Board of The Eden Foundation
Project. She also works with the Project’s mentoring
initiative in her role as a mentor to Enyonam Tetteh. More Detail
Yaa
Asantewaa Nzingaa, is a
compelling spokesperson and dynamic motivational speaker, sought
nationally and
in the Caribbean to give keynote addresses, lead seminars and
workshops, and to
coordinate conferences on a variety of themes. She is President/CEO of
a local
twenty-six year old consultant company and an Educator with over
thirty-five
years experience in the Mental Health Community in particular
Alcoholism and
Substance Abuse prevention and treatment. Yaa Asantewaa retired as
Clinical
Supervisor in Department of Psychiatry of a private teaching hospital
in East
Harlem, New York City for twelve years to teach full time. She is
currently a
Professor at Mercy College, teaching at both the Bronx and Manhattan
campuses
in the psychology and behavioral Science departments. Yaa, as
she prefers
to be called is a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother
loving and
doting on her children. She has had four heart attacks, a stroke and
battles a
host of life-threatening challenges to her health. Yaa believes
“there is only
one physician and his name is Jesus” and she rises as a
walking miracle and
mind-blowing inspiration to all of us here at The Eden Foundation
Project. She
is a member of our Advisory Board and a mentor to one of our leaders,
Weah
Henry Williams. So watch out for this extraordinary woman and young man
as they
are determined to solicit aid for those in our Sponsorship
Program.
Yaa’s mission in life
is to address, sensitize, and raise the awareness levels especially
among young
adults about the issues that impact the human condition with particular
attention given to the Black Community. She says so
tomorrow’s Headlines will
not read: “Due to a lack of interest, Tomorrow has been cancelled!”
This mission
has certainly found a home in
the hearts of all of us here at The Eden Foundation Project.
Mrs.
Percelene MCLain is a wife to John, a mother to Michael and Lauren and
a grandmother to Serenity. She works as the division secretary of
social and behavioral sciences at Nyack College where she is also a
student majoring in Social Work.
